Fabulous Location!

4 of 5
My daughter and I stayed here during her Texas Tech orientation. It's just as described -- very convenient to campus, but private with great off-street parking. I walked to all the various parent orientation sessions within 15-20 minutes. The cottage is comfortable, well appointed and very cozy -- space is a premium, but it's exceptionally well used. The bathroom is small, but clean and adequate. Another reviewer noted that the lower ceilings in parts of the cottage might be a challenge to those 6 ft. tall and over, but give the cottage a try. Thank you, Don, for making this unique property available.

TT graduation stay

We had a wonderful time in this cozy Cottage. Dan and Margaret are great hosts. The house is located on the property of the Krueger house, one the most beautiful houses in Lubbock. We took the liberty of opening the back door (to the Krueger house grounds) and have our children play with the dogs and the tire swing in the yard. The cottage has a very nice Tempur Pedic bed (!) and we were able to fold open an extra day bed for our three year old and we brought a pack-n-play for our toddler and we had still plenty of space. We were missing some basic, salt/pepper and sugar in the kitchen, but the beers and bottle of wine made up for that. Dan even came by and dropped off a French cheese for us. Very considerate! Texas Tech is literally two minutes walk away just across the street and restaurants and shops are also close by. Thanks Dan and Margaret!
