Perfect for a Quiet Getaway Weekend

5 of 5
If you're looking for a quiet getaway weekend and you like horses, then this place is perfect. My girlfriend and I spent a weekend out here for her birthday and we were not disappointed. Inside was clean, up-kept and well furnished with a cozy, country vibe. Since it's part of a barn, you can walk outside and just ten feet away are a few gorgeous horses in their stables. The view from the porch is magnificent as well, open fields for the horses to run surrounded by trees. Weatherford is just a short drive away and there is a nice little place called Outskirtz Grill about a mile from the ranch. Great food and live local music on weekends. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get out of the bustling city for a relaxing weekend.

A relaxing retreat

5 of 5
Even though we had rain most of the 3 days that we stayed, we really enjoyed our "sister retreat." The fireplace/stove was very warm and cozy and there were lots of little pampers. We enjoyed the ambiance and adjustable lighting as well as the decorative lighting of the shelves and other spaces. The cinnamon rolls were a treat and we even dscovered some slippers to keep our feet cozy. We walked to the barn a few times and on the one clear day, we hiked at nearby Greenbelt State Park. We would recommend this cottage for any get-away.
