            Mixed feelings

            4 of 5
Our family of 17 spent two days at this property. Upon arrival we discovered a non- functioning air conditioning system in one of the houses. The next morning was even more frustrating as we had no water pressure and no hot water. No one could shower and the worst was the inability to flush toilets. We admit that the owners and property manager were very responsive and both issues were repaired but our stay was certainly dampened by these occurrences. Would also recommend a manual of some sort explaining the use of various appliances. It took 4 tries before we discovered that the dishwasher only gets the dishes clean if it is on the power wash setting. We also tried for more than an hour to unlock the stovetop burners and finally discovered the trick was to hold the "all burners off" button down for about 10 sec. Other than these unnecessary frustrations, the property provided enough rooms, comfortable beds, fun grounds, several places to gather, and a very well-stocked kitchen for our event.

            Texas Hill Country

            5 of 5
I spent Thanksgiving here with a large group and it was wonderful. The buildings are rustic and quaint with lots of charm but they have all the modern comforts and conveniences of home. The main building is huge. It has a large covered porch in the front and another in the back. The ceilings in the living area are two stories high and have huge windows all around. The kitchen in the main building is just amazing. We had five or six people cooking at the same time without getting in each other’s way. My favorite spot was the large fire pit next to the house where everyone could sit by the fire late into the night and tell stories. I’m pretty sure a few beers were consumed also. I would definitely go back again.
