This Property Made Our Family Reunion

            5 of 5
In looking for a location to host a family reunion for 25 people in the Texas Hill Country, I came across the Farr Side/Moriah properties. The 5 separate buildings were perfect for accommodating 6 families with ages ranging from 2 to 70 very comfortably. We stayed for 3 nights and everyone wished we could have stayed longer. The cabins were immaculately clean; the beds were comfortable; there were ample supplies, and the kitchen contained everything that we needed and more - an absolutely amazing property. The game room with the pool and ping pong tables were a hit with the kids and the huge property provided plenty of room for family sport activities or just losing yourself to enjoy the peaceful countryside. The entire family was blown away with the beauty of the property. I am always skeptical about property photos which highlight the best aspects of a property while conveniently ignoring its warts, but the pictures on the website do a good job of accurately portraying the property. The two older cabins on the Moriah side of the property were quaint and had both the adults and children fighting over who got to stay there. The huge kitchen and living room in the main property was the perfect gathering place for the whole family. The property manager was very helpful and responsive to my many questions. The directions to the property were clear and easy to follow. Would easily reserve again.

            Texas Hill Country

            5 of 5
I spent Thanksgiving here with a large group and it was wonderful. The buildings are rustic and quaint with lots of charm but they have all the modern comforts and conveniences of home. The main building is huge. It has a large covered porch in the front and another in the back. The ceilings in the living area are two stories high and have huge windows all around. The kitchen in the main building is just amazing. We had five or six people cooking at the same time without getting in each other’s way. My favorite spot was the large fire pit next to the house where everyone could sit by the fire late into the night and tell stories. I’m pretty sure a few beers were consumed also. I would definitely go back again.
