Awesome filming location!

5 of 5
Our company filmed a commercial here and it was a great experience!! The location is beautiful with tons of natural light, and the owners are the nicest! Not only did we easily get every shot we were going for, we finished early!! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND filming and/or staying here :)

Have already recommend the place to friends.

Property was just as described and true to photos, very AUSTIN. Great location, within walking distance on an actual well-kept sidewalk to trendy south congress shops (if you are a walker). If you don’t like longer walks then it’s an easy 5 min drive or take a bus. Great place to stay if it’s your first time in Austin and want to be close to the city.

Gorgeous bungalow near SoCongress food trucks

4 of 5
Simple but super cute bungalow in great location. Fun touches like a shower head used for a door panel, a fish sculpture/panel that incorporated all kinds of scrap metal, and stencil paintings on the stairs. Property was clean and well-maintained, and the owners had thoughtfully left a disposable toothbrush and other small washroom items in a cupboard in case I forgot anything. The only thing that is stopping me from giving this 5 stars is that it was a little cold when I arrived, and there doesn't seem to be heat-- maybe ask for a space heater if you come in the winter. Also light wakes me really easily in the mornings and one small window in the sleeping loft had no curtain, so I had to put a towel over it. Stayed here during SXSW-- it was a 30 minute walk to the convention center, but I mean power walking, no distractions. Or the #1 bus stops on the corner of Congress and goes right downtown. The bus stop is conveniently located right by the Mighty Cone truck-- try their deep fried avocado-- delish.
