I stayed here for about a week as I was in town getting a feel for Austin as a future home. Overall, I was in Austin for about two weeks, bouncing between AirBnB and HomeAway rentals and this was by far my favorite!
The apartment is located in the South Shore area, a little east of town. The area is still developing, but I managed to find everything I needed from a cafe to do work out of, called Buzzmill (and serves beer, Awesome!), a Walgreens, a laundrymat, a convenience store, etc.
If you're looking to get into downtown Austin, the buses are pretty easy to navigate or you can cab/Uber for around $6/7.
The apartment is great! Set up like a loft space, on top of the garage in the back. It provides everything you need including cable/internet, a comfy bed, kitchen and bath. The place is really nicely done and very comfortable to stay in.
John makes everything pretty self-service (which I like) so I was able to check-in, get keys, and settle in without issue.
Overall, I'll definitely consider staying again when I come back to Austin! Thanks John!
