Wedding Oasis

5 of 5
This is a beautiful newly constructed home in the hill country of Texas. We were so excited to find it instead of staying in a hotel for three nights to attend a family wedding. There is lots of room for everyone and amenities for all ages. I appreciated their being a bathroom with shower in each of the four rooms. Of course the pool was a hit with the kids and the outdoor fire place was a hit with the entire family (great for s'mores) when it became chilly and rainy. The owner, Mark, was attentive to our hospitality yet not intrusive to our privacy. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and basic necessities. Our stay was very peaceful in the quiet of the country, yet we were closer to wedding venue (Camp Lucy) then others that stayed at hotels.

Home, Property & Owners are Outstanding!

5 of 5
Adriatic Serenity is not just a place to stay, it is an experience. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enamoured. Nestled in the hills of Austin, it overlooks a lush canyon. The house is framed with floor to ceiling windows and you can gaze at a variety of spectacular views from almost every room. It is an unusual home, adobe in design, it curves Mediterranean style, the ceilings in the master wing reflecting the architecture of the ancient Greeks and Romans. The owner has an artistic flair and everywhere you look, you find something to admire, to think about, to dream on. Yet, she has also made it accessible and comfortable, with conscientious attention to all of the high-end amenities one could possibly want. My husband and I and our two little dogs felt at home. Lucy and Doug, thank you for your gracious hospitality and for allowing us to stay a month in your amazing home.

AMAZING! STUNNING! Amazing Family Retreat

5 of 5
BEAUTIFUL! Couldn't ask for a better way to spend time with friends and family. Stunning home with breath taking views of the hill country. EXTREMELY PRIVATE!!!! Quiet neighborhood. Everything was so clean. This place passes the white glove test without a doubt!!! Large open kitchen for casual dining with friends or a large dinner party. I LOVED being right on Lake Austin. The location was more exclusive than any hotel we could of stayed at. Very close to lots of great restaurants, bars and shopping and several well stocked large grocery stores if you prefer to do your own cooking. Everything was well maintained and very new. Couldn't of had a better time.
