Get away for couples...

4 of 5
The cabin was small (as was advertised), but well equipped. We enjoyed the time there. The neighbor's dog, Roxy, will come over and introduce herself, but mostly leave you alone. The new neighbors are pretty close and they were working on the bulkhead when we were there, so there was construction workers pretty much the whole time during the day. But, the cabin is cute and the river is right there, so if you have a canoe or kayak it's perfect. New Braunfels is 15 minutes away if you need something to do other than relax. Also, they have a brand new restaurant called the Power Plant which is maybe 5 minutes from the cabin. It sits on the river at the park and is a great little place (food is OK, more of a bar...but, worth a visit if just for the view). Owner was very helpful, although we didn't need anything, she offered help if we needed anything. I would recommend to a single or couple, but there's not enough room for more than that...
