AMAZING!!!! Unforgettable experience!

5 of 5
We stayed in tipi #6. It is simply amazing and breath taking! It has 2 queen size beds, a sofa that converts into a bed and a fully stocked kitchen. I'm talking about plates, bowls, cups, spooks, forks, knives, coffee machine and Folgers cofee, pots, pans, spatulas, sponge, dish soap, trash bags, hot plate burner, conventional oven and the list goes on and on. The assigned bathroom is also amazingly clean. It's only 5 or 6 steps from the tipi's front door. They provide every tipi with a picnic table, fire pit and bbq grill. The river is about a 2-3 minute walk from the tipi. My boys LOVED the treehouse and all the games they had. I definitely recommend this place and we will be returning soon!!!

THE GOOD AND THE NOT SO GOOD

4 of 5
My family (husband, wife and two grown children) stayed in the house for two nights in June 2014. There are many good things about the house. It provided comfortable accomodations for our group of 4 adults. The location is great - we were able to walk to restaurants and shops in downtown New Braunfels, as well as to the Comal River for an afternoon of tubing. The kitchen was well equipped; the air conditioning worked great; and we had no problems whatsoever connecting to the internet. There were, however, some things about the house that were not so good. Neither the house nor the yard were as clean and well-maintained as we expected. The back yard in particular was weedy and overgrown and not a place where we or our dogs wanted to spend much time. Also, we decided that the neighbors on the left as you face the house either have a lot of pets or are operating a kennel. Everytime we let our dogs outside, the barking started and did not stop until we brought them in. The neighbor dogs also barked off and on all night long which didn't make for an ideal sleeping situation. We could not find any tubes at the house and ended up purchasing our own. We didn't mind doing this as we will probably use the tubes again; however, the listing should be edited so that future renters will know that they need to bring their own tubes unless they plan to use one of the tube rental companies. Despite these issues we had a very good time and really appreciated the fact that we were allowed to bring our dogs along on our trip.
