the perfect getaway

5 of 5
I can't imagine a cozier cabin in a more beautiful place. This trip was the getaway that made me feel like I really got-away. I would love to go back!

60 lb Blue Cat caught off the dock by Brad Mason at Min Paradis in Leakey, TX

5 of 5
We could not have had a more fabulous stay! Incredible hostess with what Brad and I have deemed "luxury rustic" accommodations. This fish was caught on a 10lb line and hook with a piece of sausage, just out the front door of the cabin. The highlight of our trip, among many exquisite delights. (and yes, we threw him back in......he's waiting for you....)

Authentic Texas Experience

5 of 5
Sight unseen, we rented this property for our annual family pilgrimage to the Hill Country, this year with our sons' college roommates from Seattle and Montreal. We were captivated by the beautiful landscape, the large and comfortable lodge, and most of all, the virtual Noah's Ark of free-range hoofstock (with hundreds of photos to prove it). Rugged hiking in the hills, swimming in the picturesque natural pool, and star-gazing around the bonfire pit, all were among the best experiences we've had in 30 years of visiting the Frio Canyon area. Our guests were thrilled with their first experience of Texas - and intend to return for more R&R at Circle H Lodge.
