Excellent

5 of 5
We stayed here for spring break with our 5 young children. The place is outfitted perfectly for a family, or large group. Tons of space, nice beds, great amenities. We used it sort of like a "base-camp" and did day trips throughout the area, it worked perfectly. As others have said, Mark, the host, is amazing. Our kids absolutely loved him. He was kind, thorough and super helpful. We'd go back in a heart-beat!

Our Mini Paradise

5 of 5
We absolutely loved our stay and couldn't be happier being there! We already miss the water sound outside of the door. Chris, you made us feel right at home and loved how the cabin was equipped with everything we needed! Thank you, so much for allowing us to arrive late Friday and the cabin being so welcoming when we arrived from the note cards to the bottle of wine. We will definitely be back we are already talking about at least two more trips back there and are excited to be coming back! Again thank you so much for allowing us to experience you mini paradise!

Authentic Texas Experience

5 of 5
Sight unseen, we rented this property for our annual family pilgrimage to the Hill Country, this year with our sons' college roommates from Seattle and Montreal. We were captivated by the beautiful landscape, the large and comfortable lodge, and most of all, the virtual Noah's Ark of free-range hoofstock (with hundreds of photos to prove it). Rugged hiking in the hills, swimming in the picturesque natural pool, and star-gazing around the bonfire pit, all were among the best experiences we've had in 30 years of visiting the Frio Canyon area. Our guests were thrilled with their first experience of Texas - and intend to return for more R&R at Circle H Lodge.
