It was truly a joyous & magical place

5 of 5
We hosted our daughter's wedding here on October 26, 2013 & it was truly a magical event! Our daughter & now, son-in-law, had been looking for the perfect venue for their special day. When they toured Outback Pedernales & met Gail, the owner, they said, this is it! They looked no further! Besides the property being beautiful, Gail was so sweet & accommodating to all of our needs. We arrived on Oct. 24 to start the wedding prep. The home is so large & comfortable, we were able to accommodate the groom's family there. They absolutely loved it! We transformed the back yard into a wedding was gorgeous!! The grounds are a perfect site for making one feel relaxed & cozy...we almost felt the trees were hugging us!! Our approx.120 guests were truly in awe!! The evening & the entire experience was exactly and even more than our daughter & her now husband ever dreamed of!! If you are looking for a unique & totally awesome hill country wedding, this is your place!! Everything we did was so convenient to the property. The groom's family hosted the rehearsal dinner at J5 Restaurant, which is about 5 minutes away on Hwy. 71. We had a delicious dinner out on their beautiful was lovely! Then, we had the wonderful experience to work with Outback Party Rentals in Marble Falls. They were right there when we needed them & helped us with every little detail. They were outstanding!! Our daughter was very picky when it came to her flowers. She went to visit with Vanessa at Bee Caves Blooms (HEB) & she came through for her with exactly what she wanted. They were absolutely gorgeous!! We are still enjoying them! Then...the food! That was easy because Opie's barbq is right down the road on Hwy 71 & that is our daughter & her husband's favorite place to eat. They catered the food & it was, of course, out of this world, delicious!! So, as you can tell, we were all so totally pleased with very little detail. This property is the perfect place & Gail, the owner, is the BEST! If you are looking for a unique & fabulous hill country spot to host a fairy tale wedding, this is your place! The bride & groom would not have done anything different. It was truly joyous & magical!

A Great, Quiet Country Spot

5 of 5
We'd rented the property for a weekend vacation coming down from DFW. Coming in, we were looking for a quiet weekend to relax and it suited us perfectly. The property accommodated the six of us very well. The interior was comfortable and clean. The kitchen included everything we needed to cook and prepare our meals. The bathrooms were clean and included plenty of clean towels. We stayed in the master bedroom and the bed was soft, pillowy heaven. The living room area is open and a good place to sit around and converse. Moving outside, we loved the wrap around patio. We spent a good part of the weekend outside talking at the tables and on the chair swing. The river was down (as it has been everywhere lately) but not low enough to prevent boaters from buzzing by every once in a while. One pleasant surprise was the walking trail that leads from the house adjacent to the creek running into the Pedernales. Much of the path was manicured impressively well and lead back through trees and eventually to the neighboring property. Very, very peaceful. Outside of that, there is shopping and groceries easily available about 15 minutes away in Bee Cave. We hadn't planned on going to the Lake, but if we had, it would have been an easy. Also (Willie Nelson's) Pedernales Country Club is right around the corner. We all enjoyed our stay very much and would come back in a heartbeat.
