What I would like to tell everyone is that this place was a horrible place to stay during SXSW just so I can have first dibs on it for future SXSW trips. But, I'm a good person and I know you are reading these comments to know the truth, so here's the truth:
My co-worker and I absolutely loved our stay here. The home itself was awesome. It may not look like anything special from the outside, but the inside is gorgeous! I loved the split level, you had the entry level and kitchen with a sunken dining room, then you had a living room on the next level up, another bedroom and bathroom another level up, and then the master bedroom on the highest level. This means it's not suitable for someone in a wheelchair or who has troubles getting up and down stairs. But, for those of you who can handle a set of stairs, this is a really cool layout.
The proximity to downtown Austin is also perfect. You are just far enough from downtown to be able to enjoy the hill country but close enough that you can make early morning meetings.
I also loved the owner and his property manager. They were super helpful, extremely friendly, and easy to do business with. We also loved the neighbors and their little yorkie. They were very friendly and happy to give restaurant and coffee suggestions. I would stay here every time I visit Austin if it's an option. I think the price point is right on for the location and amenities, and we couldn't stop raving about our accommodations. Thank you Conor and Jo Ann for everything. You were both wonderful, and we loved our 4-day trip to SXSW!
