-Margo was quick to respond to questions or comments I had before the trip via email, as well as by phone during the trip. We had a total of 14 individuals from the Houston area, and we spent most of our time on Lake Travis.
-The kitchen was our main interest. We bought a lot of groceries to prepare for our boat trip, and for our dinner Saturday evening. There were plenty of bowls, dishes, skillets, and utensils to choose from--as well as plenty of space to store our food. We attempted to grill our burgers, only 2 of the 4 burners were working properly. I called Margo and let her know our issue with the grill. Margo was nice enough and drop off a propane tank just in case that was the issue. So we ended up just cooking the burgers a little more thoroughly on the stove.
-The house was super clean, neat, and organized which was very comforting. There were plenty of towels for bathing for all of the guests.
-The pictures are quite accurate, except there is NO LAKE water behind the home, possibly due to the drought. You will not be able to go down to a dock behind the house and put your feet in the water simply because there is only dry land visible versus water.
-The home was a little pricier than what we wanted to spend, but it was able to accommodate all of us. We definitely do not regret our decision. All of our party was impressed with the decision I made to stay here. YAY
Thank you Margo!
