From the canopy of trees that lined the narrow streets to the picturesque campus of Southwestern University, Georgetown has old world charm. The town square is uncomplicated, traffic is willing to adapt to amblers that are taking in the scenery and not paying attention to their movement. A meal at Gumbo’s is a delight. We attended the Graduation commencement exercises and stayed at "Besito House". The listing is just as described. We especially enjoyed the sitting room with the large windows in the back that allowed us to see and listen to the beautiful Cardinals and Mocking birds sing in the morning. We had a little bit of rain that was pleasant to enjoy since we live in such a dry part of Texas. The Wi-Fi worked great. The beds were soft and cozy. The kitchen was well supplied, we only cooked breakfast. A lot of extra amenities were provided, like a magnified mirror, tissues in numerous rooms, shampoo and conditioner, laundry soap and dryer sheets. The property was clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the porch swing as the rain fell softly. Thank you for offering this property to escape to.
