this is the place to stay in TEXAS HILL COUNTRY

What can I say but this is the home to rent and make your Headquarters for your visit to Hill Country! The home is high atop a hill in the Sunset Canyon area, one of the nicest sections of Dripping Springs, or Dripp'in if you live in the area. The house is roomy, nicely decorated, well appointed, clean, quite, lot's of wild life to enjoy! The Master suite and bath are huge and the bed is to die for. My husband and I are going to buy this same mattress for our home. Best sleep we have had in awhile There are books for reading and to learn about local places to see and go, games, pool floats, padded patio furniture, wood for the fireplaces these folks thought of it all. And you are not far off Hwy 290 which is convenient when setting out for those day trips across Hill Country. You are close to the best cities and places to eat and party in Hill Country. Nutty Browns, Salt Lick BBQ, The Oasis, Oak Creek Cafe (Dripping Springs) Wineries and of course Austin, Luckenbach Frederickberg and if you have the time a day trip to San Antonio, maybe an hour away! Grocery and convenience stores, (farmers market in the summer months), all close by. My only complaint is..............we sould not stay longer ;) We will be back in the near future, and next time I plan to take more time to relax and enjoy the countryside instead of running around to wedding events! And the owners are wonderful. They are quick to respond, and pleasant! One more comment, this is the 2nd home we have rented from HomeAway. The last one was in Tombstone, AZ. It too was a fantastic home to rent. HomeAway is our newest Travel Accomodations website! I could go on, but you might miss an opportunity to rent this wonderful retreat! Melissa
