The property was exactly as described and pictured. Everything you needed was right there. It was cozy and comfortable, beautifully decorated. Alta was wonderful and ready to help in any way she could. The golf cart was a hit with us and we drove every inch of the resort. We were welcomed by Alta to use her water toys whenever we wanted. The whole holiday was relaxing and a great experience. We would return to Alta and this townhouse any time and I would recommend it to anyone.

            High School Reunion

            5 of 5
Six of the women from my graduating class have been getting together for a couple of years now. This home was wonderful with a fantastic view of the lake & deer walking right through the yards in late evening. Each of us would highly recommend it for your getaway! Several of us did not leave the home at all during our weekend stay except to go to the community pool which we all enjoyed. A couple of them ran to Coldspring for a few grocery items or did their morning walks through the neighborhood. We so enjoyed the balcony at any time of the day or night. It was so pleasant just sitting talking and relaxing with the beautiful view. The home is well stocked, exceptionally clean, & comfortably furnished. I loved that it seemed a bit retro with huge speakers for the sound system and lots of old LP's on the shelves. The owner, Shelley, was almost like an old friend herself while we were communicating back and forth about the property. I would like to add that this home was considerably less expensive than the home we rented on Lake Conroe last year, and the lake is much prettier too. We are all country girls so we really liked being away from it all.

            Great family vacation home

            5 of 5
If you are looking for a great family vacation home then this is the place. The house was wonderful and if the grandkids couldn't find me they soon knew to look on the deck to find me relaxing while watching the birds and crazy squirrels eatting out of the bird feeder! All the little extras to make it a totally enjoyable family vacation for us right down to the snowcone maker and the darling little ice cream cone bowls to put them in. The kids loved the "hunt" they had for more games...every closet, cabinet, shelf and drawer seemed to have more toys for them to discover and play with. They loved the riding toys that made the bad weather times fun (and it rained everyday). Even the 3+ hours we were without electricity was enjoyable as we took the kids down to play under the house on the paved area. On our evening stolls around the neighborhood we enjoyed seeing all the deer. We met the neighbors on both sides of us who gave us pointers on where to fish and where the best place was to ski and swim. We sandwiched a lot of wonderful memories in between the thunder and lightning shows and had an absolutely great time at the Rustic Treehouse.
