Great Place on the Guadalupe

5 of 5
The description of the property and grounds here are exactly as stated. Great decks, riverfront, and very clean. We had a great weekend getaway, there was not one thing we needed that was not provided. It's a great spot with the dam on the river here, always water for kayaking up river. We were here the last weekend of October, the drive up River Road to Gruene was fantastic. Would stay again, and definitely refer to friends and family. Thanks for a great stay. Experience history

My husband and I spent six weeks in this completely renovated German Farm house while relocating. The home looks just like the pictures. The two bedrooms and baths are very spacious and allowed for us to put all our belongings away and out of site. We found the home quite, clean, well maintained and stocked with about any non-perishable item you need. We celebrated Christmas here with our extended family. On Christmas Eve, we all walked to the sweet church across the street and attended the candle light service. There is a large BBQ that we used often out back and a wonderful large porch to enjoy the warmer weather. Linda has lived in the area for many years and can help you with just about any question you have. I would certainly stay here again and I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in or around the Canyon Lake area. New Braunfels, Greune, San Antonio, Austin and all the small hill country towns are all within an hour. Big plus for us - the neighborhood includes a private park on the Guadalupe River and has enough flat pavement to run a 3.5 mile circuit. Just beautiful.
