Relaxing Family Vacation

5 of 5
Our family of 5 had a wonderfully relaxing vacation in this home on the bulkhead. There is plenty of seating outside to watch the boats go by, grill, eat, or make s'mores on the fire pit. We enjoyed using the canoe and paddle-boat, the bicycles and horseshoes, and our kids caught lots of fish. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed. There's plenty to do in the area like hiking, swimming, boating, and the Longhorn caverns are nearby. We highly recommend this property!

A beautiful and relaxing getaway!

5 of 5
My extended family of 12 recently spent a long weekend of fun and relaxation at this vacation rental. Our first impression when we walked inside was how nicely furnished it was. It is not your typical rental! There are too many perks to list but some of the highlights are the kayaks, canoe, paddleboards, fishing poles, floats, a large deck over the water, horseshoe pit, ping pong table, gas grill, a kitchen equipped with practically everything you would need, comfortable beds, a washer/dryer, cable, wi-fi and Iā€™m sure much more. My personal favorite was the breathtaking view as you look out toward the lake with the beautiful lawn and the huge trees which provided plenty of shade. They even provide a mosquito mister but we never had any problems with mosquitoes. My family spent a majority of the time down at the water kayaking and fishing. The water was so smooth that even the younger kids learned to kayak with ease. A must for anyone and a real treat for me was having my morning cup of coffee down by the water. It is a beautiful spot for watching the sun rise and set. The owners were very nice and easy to work with. We were very pleased with this rental and would recommend it to anyone!
