Super Beautiful Vacation Home!

5 of 5
Let me start by, words will not be enough to describe my feelings! We had an awesome time staying in this place. Its location is perfect with a sizable backyard, covered deck with lots of games for kids and adults. The place I enjoyed the most was the beautiful deck on the lake where I enjoyed the clear view of the first rays of a serene sunrise to a peaceful sunset followed by of course lazing around the firepit till midnight. A lot of activities for the kids by the water... thanks to a number of water toys and good number of life jackets. The depth of the lake by the deck is at least 10-15ft, so good for some diving fun but that also means kids always needed to wear a life jacket. The kayaks, canoe and paddle boards kept us all busy during the day. Though water wasn't much warm this time of the year, I guess everyone was charged to kiss winters good bye so didn't mind taking a dip.... from the deck there is dam around 250ft on one side and nice set of rocks on the other (50 ft lake distance), probably 100ft away. When the water is released from the dam, it creates nice small rapids around the rocks although the current is not huge. Its a good place to practice water rafting! Around 200 ft down from the rocks the lake widens a bit and we noticed a lot of people with speed boats and motorized activities. Glad it wasn't near the deck as I find it pretty distracting. We were not much into fishing, however we found many boats around the area enjoying quite fishing too. Inside, the house was spacious with tasteful decorations (Vintage setup), much to my liking..and everything we needed was there. 2 refrigerators with a large group like ours was definitely handy. Owners were gracious and responsive to any questions. Overall very good experience and I would definitely recommend this place to all.
