DELIGHTFUL APARTMENT IN BOERNE

5 of 5
This is a contemporary garage apartment in an interesting neighborhood in Boerne. The area seems to be in transition and is a mixture of old and new homes. The yard is beautifully landscaped with a small fountain in the entry area. The interior of the apartment is nicely furnished with an eclectic mix of antiques, IKEA type furniture, and colorful rugs and pictures. The apartment seems new and was immaculate. One of the best features is a small kitchen with a stove, fridge, and dishwasher. The bed is a full-size mattress which was a little on the small side but comfortable. Overall, it was a great place to stay. The owner was friendly and easy to work with. Next time we're in the area, we will definitely stay here again.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED

4 of 5
I was worried about having the shower in another cabin, but like another reviewer said, it's just a few steps away. This 'compound' of cabins would be great for groups or larger families. We loved being able to stay only one night, as we had Mother's day plans in Boerne the next night. We stayed in the larger cabin and slept with a wonderful breeze from all of the open windows. We slept so well in that bed that we pulled the sheets up to see what kind of bed we needed to buy! The view is wonderful and we loved watching the birds, baby birds in a nest above the porch and all of the farm animals next door. Wonderful place! Just remember - this is not a B&B, so you should bring your own food/breakfast.
