Such an amazing host and retreat

5 of 5
Amanda made us feel welcomed from the very moment we arrived. The property itself feels very peaceful and has a magical, romantic quality to it. Each morning we watched deer feed from the front porch while having our coffee. We would highly recommend this quaint cottage to anyone looking for a more personalized visit to the beautiful hill country.

Better than expected

I was worried about having the shower in another cabin, but like another reviewer said, it's just a few steps away. This 'compound' of cabins would be great for groups or larger families. We loved being able to stay only one night, as we had Mother's day plans in Boerne the next night. We stayed in the larger cabin and slept with a wonderful breeze from all of the open windows. We slept so well in that bed that we pulled the sheets up to see what kind of bed we needed to buy! The view is wonderful and we loved watching the birds, baby birds in a nest above the porch and all of the farm animals next door. Wonderful place! Just remember - this is not a B&B, so you should bring your own food/breakfast.
