This was a wonderful getaway!

5 of 5
We LOVED the Little Yellow Cabin!! All of the little touches made the place feel so so cozy & comfy! We loved the sounds and smells of nature and all there was to do on the property. The adult tree house was really neat and there was a small clearing near the house that was perfect for stargazing. The only downfall of the rental was the smell of the water from the faucets and the shower. The owners provide spring water for drinking, but taking a shower and washing hands was an issue. Other than that, the experience was AMAZING!

Cool little getaway

5 of 5
It was a week before my company’s big conference at the Hyatt, there weren’t any rooms left and we were forced to find lodging in Bastrop. Not really wanting to drive back and forth to Bastrop to one of the less than stellar motels I hopped on HomeAway to see what I could find. I came across the Magnolia house and grabbed it up. I arrived on Sunday to find an awesome little bungalow with a few welcome treats and a 6 pack of Lone Star beer in the fridge (I was sold with the Lone Star present). The house was very clean, modern with a great back porch for hanging out and sipping on some beers. There were two of us staying there with room for more if needed. It was too bad we had to leave because we were just getting used to our nightcaps on the porch by the 3rd night. Great job guys!

Christmas at Reflections Lodge

5 of 5
Wow!!..what a wonderful place and such accommodating management! We spent the Christmas holidays at Reflections Lodge. It was a perfect place for all of our family members to gather together for such a special time of the year. The lodge had more than ample room and so many things to do! We played ping pong, pool, and basketball...fished in the pond...walked the trails...spent time in the hot tub and had campfires along with delicious meals that were cooked in the very well equipped kitchen. The lodge management even allowed us to cut down our very own Christmas tree from their 100 acre property! If you are looking for a place to have a family gathering or a large get together, this is the perfect place. (Donna- Thank you so much for helping to make sure my family's Christmas together was a wonderful one! I so appreciated your prompt email responses and for going over and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time together. I wish you and your family a happy new year!)
