We rented this house and one nearby to accomodate girls for my sister's bridal shower and bachelorette weekend. We had friends and family travel in from DC, MD, Puerto Rico, Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas. Valerie allowed for early check in since my mother was getting in before noon. The home was well-appointed, with everything you could possibly need. Valerie kindly had cookies delivered and they were delicious. The beds were comfortable, and we easily slept 5 in that house, but the closet is big enough to put another airbed in, which the home also comes with. The location is great, but a little further from the attractions on SoCo than we thought. Easily fixed though with the use of the Uber app (like a cab, but cheaper and people pick you up in their own cars. We never waited more than 10 min for a pick up). Valerie was very responsive and checked on us after we arrived. That said, the house book and lease agreement with expectations in it said to keep noise level down after 10pm. We had girls arriving to meet up at this house and of course we congregated on the inviting patio, with nice weather outside. With 10 girls visiting (before we could gather everyone and take 1/2 to the other house nearby), it can be a little noisy. However, we were notified at 7:45 on a Friday night that we should keep the noise down, that there were babies next door. I took care of it since I didn't want to argue, but we were a little bummed to know that we were expected to keep it down so early in the evening on such a beautiful Austin night. I mean, how can you build a patio like this and not expect people to congregate there and enjoy themselves?!
That said, we took ourselves down a notch and moved inside after 10pm. We spent late evenings at the other house nearby where neighbors didn't complain.
Valerie also allowed for a late check out at 1pm. This accommodated guests who were not leaving till later that afternoon.
