Quiet & cozy!

5 of 5
I was seeking a weekend away to soak in the outdoors...and I found it at the Little Yellow Cabin. The woods were beautiful - and the hammocks and tree house were the perfect place to enjoy them. The cabin itself was lovely and comfortable - every detail, from the bed and bath to the living area, was what I love about Austin, fun and funky. The owners left instructions for even the finest details, and the cabin was stocked with all of the little extras in the kitchen and bath that made packing easy.

Wonderful Staycation!

5 of 5
We live in Austin and wanted to get away for our 10 yr anniversary but the actual weekend wasn't the right weekend to have a big trip. We decided to stay close to home and searched all over the hill country to find a little escape where we felt completely alone. This was a fabulous escape and we could barely tell we were just a few miles from our home! The property is beautiful. It's very modern but also very warm and cozy. We enjoyed the pool during the day and the hot tub at night but we also just really enjoyed playing music and cooking some yummy dinners in the guesthouse. All the windows in the guesthouse made for sunshine-filled days, great sunsets and great viewing for a very welcome rainstorm. We felt like we were in a tree house looking over all the other treetops. Nina has great attention to detail! The bouquets of flowers and gift baskets we a real delight! Not only were they beautiful but they were treats we love that we normally wouldn't get for ourselves. We brought food with us but ended up eating most of the gift basket treats because it was all so good! Lastly I'd like to note how cozy it all was. The sheets and towels were so soft, the furniture was comfy, the kitchen was stocked and she knows that any great vacation requires a really good cup of coffee in the morning. Anything we needed was there in the guesthouse so we had everything at our fingertips. We will come back here when we need another weekend "away".

Great for a getaway!!

5 of 5
This little cabin was absolutely perfect for a little getaway that my husband and I took to the austin area. It's secluded but still close enough to lots of great things to do in the area. We found "jack Allen's kitchen" to eat dinner at.... Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I highly recommend this place!!! Lacy was great to work with as well!!
