This was a wonderful getaway!

5 of 5
We LOVED the Little Yellow Cabin!! All of the little touches made the place feel so so cozy & comfy! We loved the sounds and smells of nature and all there was to do on the property. The adult tree house was really neat and there was a small clearing near the house that was perfect for stargazing. The only downfall of the rental was the smell of the water from the faucets and the shower. The owners provide spring water for drinking, but taking a shower and washing hands was an issue. Other than that, the experience was AMAZING!

Cool little getaway

5 of 5
It was a week before my company’s big conference at the Hyatt, there weren’t any rooms left and we were forced to find lodging in Bastrop. Not really wanting to drive back and forth to Bastrop to one of the less than stellar motels I hopped on HomeAway to see what I could find. I came across the Magnolia house and grabbed it up. I arrived on Sunday to find an awesome little bungalow with a few welcome treats and a 6 pack of Lone Star beer in the fridge (I was sold with the Lone Star present). The house was very clean, modern with a great back porch for hanging out and sipping on some beers. There were two of us staying there with room for more if needed. It was too bad we had to leave because we were just getting used to our nightcaps on the porch by the 3rd night. Great job guys!

AMAZING place!!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Guesthouse Cabin Retreat this past weekend and had the BEST time!!! Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! Nina is extremely helpful and hospitable! We really enjoyed the private easement on the lake. The house is very private and feels like you are out in the country (we saw tons of deer!), but it is also a very short drive to some amazing restaurants! I just can't say enough wonderful things about this place!! Nina is also an amazing artist. We LOVED getting to see her studio!
