PERFECT GET-AWAY

5 of 5
My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing time at this serene retreat. The location is very private and yet close to so many attractions in Austin. The photos are very accurate but it is even better than the photos. There were fresh flowers in each room, and a welcome basket filled with a variety of yummy things to eat plus a bottle of red wine. When I opened the frig, I found another basket filled with juice, breakfast items, fruit, and a bottle of white wine. A variety of gourmet coffees and teas were available and this lovely place is immaculate. Nina was available if we needed anything. The pool and hot tub - refreshing on the hot days of July in Texas. Our dog, Lilly was with us. We took her to Common Ford for a walk and a swim in Lake Austin. Another great hike was in Barton Creek Green Belt which led down to Barton Creek for another romp in the water. We slept well each night in one of the most comfortable beds ever. We will definitely return.

SERIOUSLY HIDDEN GEM

5 of 5
My Honey and I just stayed this past Fourth of July weekend and had that absolute best time! The house is clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, but I think we spent most of our weekend on the screened in porch (in those awesome adirondacks!) and around the fire pit with our pup. The only down side was that the water was really low, so it was a bit of a muddy, buggy trek to go fishing, but we did manage to squeeze it in between the naps and s'mores! Leaving Sunday morning was like finishing a really good book, there were a few moments of denial followed by a rush of sadness. Needless to say, we can't wait to visit again!

THE PERFECT PLACE FOR A GETAWAY

5 of 5
This little cabin was the perfect place to disconnect from the world and relax! The property was everything that we thought it would be - close enough to Bastrop that we could get supplies but far enough away that we could really feel connected to nature. The cabin was VERY well stocked, and had all the basic things you'd need in the kitchen. There were plenty of towels and the two little AC units did a great job in keeping the cabin cool. We love using the little fire pit on the patio and there was plenty of wood for us to use. We will definitely be making another trip back to this property in the future. It's a great "glamping" experience!
