Perfect Place

5 of 5
This cozy 2 bedroom was perfect for our 3 day weekend. The owner responded to e-mails right away. The property is gated and very secure. The home was neat, clean and very comfortable. We ate dinners out but cooked breakfast and made lunches to go and found the kitchen well appointed. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. The view of the river and walking path were beautiful. We rented bikes and did the 10 mile loop the first day and walked the second day. It was warm almost 70 and although the pool water was a little cold to swim in, we sat out in the sun around the pool. I would go again and I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone. Directions to get get in to the property, find the key, get on the wifi were very clear and easy. Wonderful stay.

The PERFECT location in Austin!

5 of 5
We had a great stay in Austin. The apartment was clean, comfortable and exactly what we expected...and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in. (like sleeping on a cloud) The location was very central - close to rental bikes, the train and EVERYTHING downtown! We walked almost everywhere! I used the rental bikes to ride the paths along the river too - I highly recommend riding, walking or running these trails. We had a rental car for trips outside Austin and found free street parking just past the i35 highway around 6th & 7th ave - a 10 minute walk and well worth the savings in parking fees. We loved Austin and will be back.

Great condo is central Austin

5 of 5
This is a superb space for a holiday and, as described by other reviewers, it is stylish and very well equipped with every facility you could possibly want. The location is also perfect - right in between the downtown area on West 6th and the more contemporary bars and coffee shops of the East 6th area. The view of the city is stunning. The condo has two parking spaces in the building's secure parking lot which was a great convenience. There are only two things that are not ideal - one has been mentioned by a couple of other reviewers - access. The condo is accessed from the parking lot behind the building and you have to walk up two fairly long flights of external stairs to get to the front door - no elevator. This is tough for loading and unloading - and also would be a struggle for anyone with mobility problems - very small children etc. For those with normal fitness levels it's not a problem. The second thing is the noise levels. The condo is only a few yards from the I35 freeway which is busy all day and all night. There is a gas station adjacent to the building as well. If you live in the country and are used to silence at night, you won't find it here. This is to be expected in an urban setting and probably wouldn't worry many people. We live in the middle of nowhere so we noticed it! Additionally - the ceiling of the condo is the roof of the building itself - so if you get a rain storm at night (as we did) it's loud. I would not want to make too much of either of these things as they didn't spoil our enjoyment of a top quality place. My daughter lives in Austin and her friends who came to visit us were all very impressed!
