Wonderful accommodations!

5 of 5
This 2-bedroom duplex was outfitted with everything we needed and more. It was immaculately clean and included plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body cream, etc. The kitchen is modern and the refrigerator was stocked with condiments and a pitcher of water with a Brita filter. Small kitchen appliances included a coffee maker, electric tea pot, blender, toaster, coffee bean grinder, and more. Coffee beans were provided and made great-tasting coffee. I couldn't think of anything that was missing! The binder with tips and suggestions on sights and activities was extensive and very helpful. We felt like we were right at home. We will definitely stay here again!

Just Perfect!

5 of 5
Just recently stayed at the Kaleido House in Austin - it was absolutely perfect. We stayed for three weeks, and to be honest, we should have stayed for another 3 more! The home is stocked with everything that you may need. kitchen fully stocked, bedrooms well appointed, lanai makes for great coffee time, there is also a BBQ that was great for the days when we didnt feel like cooking inside. The home is very clean and cozy, and the location is excellent. We have our puppy with us so being so close to Zilker Park was wonderful. We went to the park daily, sometimes twice a day, often with a picnic blanket - made for great relaxation. The canoeing on Lady Bird Lake is right there as well - wonderful to do on a sunny day. Barton Springs Pool is also right there - though we never made it this time around, we will be sure to get to it next time. Austin is full of great restaurants - many of them are near by within walking distance or only a short drive away. We would stay at Kaleido house again. The owners were very helpful and answered all our questions. They even sent us a list of places to check our and things to do in the area. In one word : WONDERFUL!

Comfortable and Beautiful

5 of 5
I stayed here with a group, in both units. Everyone was extremely comfortable in this location with plenty of space and very comfortable beds & furniture. The duplex is beautiful and the view is just unbeatable. The decks are wonderful. The house is on a dead-end street that is very quiet and the trees make it feel so private and homey. It's located in a lovely south Austin neighborhood, really close to South Lamar and Zilker Park. We loved our stay with VacationCake, and we'd recommend them, and especially this property, to anyone.
