Thanksgiving in Austin 2014

5 of 5
Oh! My! We just spent a most delightful week! for Thanksgiving in Austin! This Home Away "home" was truly that! A "home" away from home! Shawna and Eric were wonderful hosts and helped us to create "forever memories" with our family by being able to host our Thanksgiving dinner, here! Everything we needed was graciously provided to make for a very relaxed and enjoyable day spent with the ones we love! :) The location was perfect and very close to our daughter who lives in Austin! We definitely plan on returning and referring this "home" to family and friends! :) We feel like we have created amazing new friends with Shawna and Eric and their sweet boys! We look forward to continuing this new friendship! :) Thank you !! for providing a "home" for us to be able to create many wonderful new Thanksgiving memories, in Austin! They are priceless! :) Merry Christmas and God bless you! Shawna, Eric! and boys! ~ Neil and karen

Beautiful, comfortable, and convenient

5 of 5
The Parker is beautiful and ideally located. The beds are so comfy, and the decor is lovely. We really appreciated how the manager communicated with us and checked in several times to make sure we arrived okay and that we had everything we needed. We enjoy the attention to detail and the little touches that made it feel like a model home and not a hotel. It was too chilly for us to enjoy the pool, but it looked beautiful, and we loved the courtyard. There are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby, including a Starbucks (yay!) and if you want to shop for groceries, go to the Central Market. It's huge and has a lot of organic food and pre-made meals. We liked how tucked away and secure the property feels, and yet it's very convenient to University of Texas, downtown, and all the major roads. We had a lovely week here, and we hope we'll get a chance to enjoy it again sometime.

Secluded and Relaxing, but close to everything.

This was a great place to stay. It was secluded, and comfortable. We had a great time staying there. Close to The Nutty Brown Cafe and several other great spots to visit, and not to far from everything. The house was comfortable and great to relax and enjoy the scenery. We would definitely stay here again.
