My wife & I temporarily moved to TN for business, from Phoenix, AZ. We stayed at the Hideaway Feb 1st 2015 - April 27th. Brenda, the owner, was super kind, gracious and very accommodating. I have to start with the property itself. It's gorgeous! The woods, spring and creek are so beautiful and clearly they invite tons of wildlife. I struggled to confirm all the different bird species, which ranged from robins and sparrows to hawks and turkeys, with a whole lot more in-between. The turkeys actually roost in the trees right behind the house! We also saw deer on the property and even a red fox! Nature lovers will surely enjoy this place. As for the chalet, cozy and comfortable sums it up. It was very well furnished with all the supplies you will want, right down to the crockpot. The beds are comfortable and roomy, especially the king sized master bed. There's an upper deck off the master bedroom also. I hope to have a shower someday, similar to the one you see in the pictures. It was great. I've already explained the beauty of the property outdoors, well thankfully you can still enjoy it from inside, too. Living room has two large picture windows and the dinning room table sits near the big French doors to the rear which are all glass. Nice covered porch in front overlooking the creek and the back deck is fantastic for enjoying the property or entertaining guests. Have I mentioned the hot tub? Yeah, that's awesome too. I'm an early riser and often awoke before dawn. There is nothing better than enjoying your coffee in the hot tub as the birds come to life! In my opinion, you can't be disappointed staying at the Hideaway! We sincerely hope to stay here again soon.
