Our group stayed here at the end of June and we were not disappointed. We are a group of friends that love motorcycle riding and this year we decided to go to the Smokies. The Hummingbird was in a great location, not only is the road up to the cabin an awesome road for motorcycles, the parking was nice an flat with plenty of room for our group of 6 bikes. The hot tub was perfect for us to soak our tired bodies after a day out riding. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The 3 different porches provided us plenty of outdoor space to relax and the 3rd floor porch allowed us a view of the fireworks in Pigeon Forge . We made ample use of the grill and kitchen. The Cabin is in a perfect location for someone that wants to be away from the hectic main drag between Sevierville and Gatlinburg, yet close enough that in 15 minutes or so you are in the heart of everything. Plus, for those on motorcycles, it provides a nice ride to many of the top places for riding. That was pretty obvious with all of the cabins we passed with motorcycles parked in the driveways on the road up to The Hummingbird. The owners, Susan and Larry, were exceptional. They were very responsive in answering all of our questions. They also offered up an apology on the state of the pool table since it was damaged prior to our visit and in need of replacement. That didn't hinder our experience. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone that wants a place to stay that offers plenty of space and comfort. Thanks again for a wonderful experience. Our group loved it and the cabin is a focal point of our group picture.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us. It was everything that we could have imagined. What you see in the pictures is what you get in this home. I also wrote this review on VRBO in case you saw it there as well. The view from the back deck is stunning - the home itself very comfortable and warm. We did not see a bear but there were bear paw prints on the trash container outside. The home is situated between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on the Spur. It is very close to the Bypass which gives you access to the Park without dealing with the Gatlinburg traffic. We go to the Smokies at least twice a year and this home had it all and was possibly the best one we have stayed in. It is also pet friendly (we brought our 4-legged daughter), but you would never know it had pets in it. We are already trying to decide when our next trip will be and will book this home if available.
