Retreat? Exactly.

If you enjoy truly getting away, this is it. No need for cell phones in Reliance, they won't pick up. (Thank goodness) Nice little cozy cabin by the creek. Short walk to the river if you want to bank fish, or you're not too far from good places to take boats out. We've already reserved our next stay. Thanks guys.

Perfect countryside location for a family reunion

5 of 5
This was the perfect location for our mini family reunion/ spring break. We had five adults and 7 children, all between 10 and 6 months. The fenced in yard with separate fenced in pool area was great. We could let the little ones play outside while prepping dinner or playing cards and not have to worry about them being by the pool. The pool was very cold, as this was the very early spring, but that didn't stop the kids from enjoying it. We did have to do some extra cleaning to get rid of the pet hair, but we had a little one scooting around on the floor and Picking up every dust bunny available and trying to taste test them. The fire pit was fully stocked and ready, along with smores fixings! Very sweet owners! We had a problem (100% our fault) but it was a quick phone call and we had the solution. The separate bunk house provided lots of sleeping options. The kids enjoyed exploring in the stream down the road. The hike to the waterfall was beautiful. We visited the tuckaleechee caverns and the ripleys aquarium, but the most fun we had was just being together at the hangout. The one downfall was that I don't own my own horses to bring here. The kids are already asking if we can go back this summer. I'm so greatful! Thank you again for sharing your space with us! Connie

Beautiful house and property. Gorgeous mountaintop views. Spacious accommodations for our large group. We will return! We used this as a central location for several activities in the region. Visit the Webb Store for fishing, rafting and local history - Reliance Hiwassee Outfitters Fishing/rafting Delano Day lilies and the Amish farmers market - Delano Adventure America Zipline Canopy Tours Ducktown L&N railroad Depot and Hiwassee River Rail Adventure trains - Etowah The house provide enough room and comfort to satisfy everyone's needs from age 3-70. The well stocked kitchen provided everything needed to prepare our breakfast and dinners. The hot tub for 2 was relaxing. The kids enjoyed the loft while the adults enjoyed the comfortable bedrooms and 4 baths. The covered decks were heavenly during the rainstorms! Use GPS (N 35.232834, W 84.431249) to get to correct location. Using the street address will get you lost in beautiful Monroe County!! (But it is a beautiful 10 miles of steep mountain curvy dirt road!!) Cell phone service is very spotty in the mountains. Verizon worked on the deck. ATT would not. BEWARE. Land line phone calls to anywhere beyond the next room are probably $$$ long distance!! Thank you to the Foxworth's for their hospitality and great Customer Service. I am already looking forward to our next visit!!
