Wife's Birthday weekend

5 of 5
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been using Challet Village for the past 4-5 years when I vacation in the area and this was one of my favorite trips yet. This cabin was laid out very well. Plenty of room and a very good value with all the space being only a six person cabin. Will have to remember this one for next time for sure!

Beautiful Lodge with an awesome view!!!

5 of 5
I visited Little Greenbrier Lodge for the first time in September 2014. It's charm and beauty is hard to describe with words. As you enter this historic lodge you'll find a large gathering/sitting area with a beautiful antique fireplace mantel and comfortable furniture. There are bedrooms and baths on the main level and the upper level which makes Little Greenbrier Lodge perfect for large families or groups. The huge commercial kitchen is great for preparing meals for large numbers and it is very well stocked. There is a lovely sunroom on the upper level with an awesome view of the valley. This is a great place to sit and relax or enjoy a good book. Outdoors there is plenty of room for parking, porches with swings and chairs and an awesome gazebo to enjoy all of God's beauty that surrounds you. The location is very near the the "back" entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Parkway with lots of great hiking trails nearby. This property is incrediablely clean and the owners Charlie and Susan are just wonderful. They go over and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home. I look forward to my next visit to this exceptional and unique property.

Moose Hollow is the place to be!

5 of 5
Moose Hollow was a hit with my family. The kids played with their cousins and very seldom were they on their phone (kids ranged from 10 to 18). This was a major success because spending time with family was my main goal and everyone did that. The kids said this was the best place they have been to that had up to date games they love to play. The adults stated this was the best away from home holiday they ever had and the views were breathtaking! I am beyond ecstatic to hear the good news from all of my family. In addition to all the happy campers the place was clean and up to my standards of furniture and appliances. I felt like everything was dated to our current time vs looking and smelling over 10 years old. The only suggestion I would make is to leave at least one hair dryer on site and light up the driveway with solar lights. Recap: The Good: Plenty of room for the whole family to spread out and enjoy themselves. The Bad: Wish the sign was bigger and lights up with solar lights at night. Since some people came at night time it was hard for them to find the place,(note phone service may not work and the Marathon gas station did not allow my 70 year old parents to use their phone and the pay phone was not working outside of the gas station) The Ugly: we felt we left too early and next time we will have to stay longer.
