Loved the fact that there were no other cabins nearby. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Excellent view!

Perfect Reunion Spot

5 of 5
We were married 40 years ago at the Wonderland Hotel at Elkmont. Friends who attended our wedding have moved all over the country. Yearly we look forward to getting back together for a reunion. After the Wonderland closed we searched all over the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. The Little Greenbrier comes closest to recapturing the feel of the Wonderland. It has porches, rocking chairs and is perfect for a group of about 15-20. It is less than an hour from the airport in Alcoa Tn, next door to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and within about 10-20 miles of shopping. One of our favorite things about the Lodge is the kitchen and dining room. There are 2 refrigerators, a large double oven, plenty of counter space, an ice machine and a huge dining area. Rather than spending time in traffic and restaurants, we choose to prepare meals at the lodge. We enjoy eating, "pickin and grinnin", story telling and reminiscing. The Little Green Brier is the perfect place for a small reunion.

Moose Hollow is the place to be!

5 of 5
Moose Hollow was a hit with my family. The kids played with their cousins and very seldom were they on their phone (kids ranged from 10 to 18). This was a major success because spending time with family was my main goal and everyone did that. The kids said this was the best place they have been to that had up to date games they love to play. The adults stated this was the best away from home holiday they ever had and the views were breathtaking! I am beyond ecstatic to hear the good news from all of my family. In addition to all the happy campers the place was clean and up to my standards of furniture and appliances. I felt like everything was dated to our current time vs looking and smelling over 10 years old. The only suggestion I would make is to leave at least one hair dryer on site and light up the driveway with solar lights. Recap: The Good: Plenty of room for the whole family to spread out and enjoy themselves. The Bad: Wish the sign was bigger and lights up with solar lights at night. Since some people came at night time it was hard for them to find the place,(note phone service may not work and the Marathon gas station did not allow my 70 year old parents to use their phone and the pay phone was not working outside of the gas station) The Ugly: we felt we left too early and next time we will have to stay longer.
