Beautiful Place

5 of 5
I had the pleasure of staying at the Fryar’s Green house and I am happy to report that the experience was a pure delight. It is absolutely a breathtaking place. The house is situated on a hill that gives you amazing views and serene atmosphere. The short hiking trails around the area are very refreshing and quite enjoyable. The Tennessee River Front is easily accessible, only a 7 min walk. I went kayaking on my stay there and truly enjoyed the nice mornings on the river. Another thing that makes Fryar’s Green house an enjoyable experience is because it is only 10 minutes away by car from downtown, you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, secluded from anyone else, yet close enough to get in the car and arrive at a restaurant in only 10 minutes. Also, there are many outdoors activities that you can do for free. The Raccoon Mountain is just up the hill, you can either bring your bike and enjoy the nice biking trails, or to simply go on a hike and have a nice picnic with the family. So, either you feel like staying inside or going on a hike, this is the perfect place to stay. The staff is very friendly and ready to answer your questions and help with anything. This is memorable place - definitely worth a weekend or a week of stay!

Absolutely Perfect!

5 of 5
My fiance (now husband) and I rented this home for the week of our destination wedding in Franklin, TN. It was the most amazing home ever! We had many family and friends stop by to see us throughout the week and they were in awe of this picturesque home. Everything is so well planned in the home as well. The kitchen is huge, 2 refrigerators, and perfect for food preparation. We loved making coffee in the morning by the fire in the kitchen. There is so much room in this old home. The master room was bigger than our apartment in NYC (haha) and the bathroom was so luxurious. At night we would sit and watch some tv in the tv room, and host some meals in the beautiful dinning room, then play cards/games in the living room by the fire. The yard was so much fun to pass the football or play bags in throughout the day. We loved our walks to town and dreamed of having a stunning home like this of our own. The upstairs bedrooms are perfect sizes, and the upstairs bathroom is perfect size for several people to share. Having the laundry room was just icing on the cake. And I can't tell you how much storage/closet space this home has which was perfect for all our wedding outfits and items. Thank you for opening this beautiful home for other to enjoy. We will be back

Awesome southern retreat!!

5 of 5
This house was wonderful for our group of 6 college friends from across the country! The description was totally accurate except that the river view and porch surpassed our expectations. Everything we needed was supplied - fully stocked kitchen and lots of towels, etc. We enjoyed the GOO - even got to see Reba- The Country Hall of Fame and Studio B (don't leave this part of your visit there out - exceptional!) and the Hermitage and of course the Honky Tonks! All easy to reach from this location. The owners were great both before our stay, during and after! Suggest these restaurants - Acme (downtown), Rolfe and Daughters (RAD) and Lockland Table. We certainly recommend this place and hope your time there is as great as ours was!
