We really enjoyed our stay at Bears Abound. There were "Bears Abound" in the cabin which was very cute...even on the furniture and the ladders to the lofts. All of the bedrooms and the loft had real log furniture which is so pretty. The kids really enjoyed having their own queen sized beds each in the loft and an air hockey table and a pool table on the 2nd floor. The king size bed upstairs was really comfortable. My mom said the king sized bed downstairs was very comfortable as well. The cabin was very clean. We got to see a big black bear our first night. We saw him roaming from cabin to cabin on our street as we were coming home. We headed to the cabin and quickly took our dog outside before the bear made its way down the hill (Thanks Jeff for installing the motion detector flood lights... that really helps at night). We saw him coming our way so we took our dog inside and came back outside. He sniffed the trash can across the street and with one flip of his nose got their trash can open (They must have not had the lock turned), he grabbed a bag of trash and went to town eating the trash. What a site to see. It was really neat. The views in The Preserve Resort can not be beat especially at the pool area. The view from the living room is gorgeous. We are already planning our annual trip back to Pigeon Forge in December for Winter Fest and we will be staying in "Bears Abound". The owner, Jeff, is super friendly and makes sure you are taken care of. The rates are super as well and can't be beat for what you get. Thank you for sharing your home with us. I will be in contact with you about our next stay at Bears Abound.
