Prefect Location, Wonderful Chalet

5 of 5
This is just a great place to stay, period. It's about a mile from the Parkway, but feels like it is miles from all the hustle and bustle. The rooms are big, the beds are more comfortable than ours at home and the river just off the back deck is the perfect extra. The kitchen was as well equipped as any we have seen. The chalet is very tastefully decorated in an African Safari theme throughout, something my wife had to point out to me. We come to Pigeon Forge every year or two in December and plan to stay here from now on if we can get it. My wife has even talked about coming up in the spring or summer to better enjoy the river off the back deck. The owner, was very responsive to me when I had several questions before renting and provided timely useful information after the deal was done. All in all, a very pleasant experience that we hope to repeat in the future.

Will be back!

The property was great for my husband and our 4 children. They loved going down to the street to the River to play. The house had everything we needed. It was in a quiet cul-de-sac but very close to all attractions and grocery stores. The owner was very accommodating and attentive. Highly recommend!

Convenient Comfortable Cabin

5 of 5
Ditto on what other reviews say about the cabin. It is probably the best place we have stayed out of 6 rentals. Beds were especially comfortable which is important after long days of sightseeing. I used the hot tub every night for my sore body after all the hiking. It is convenient to get to town and local sights. We drove over 400 miles in 4 days. Day trip to Biltmore house and Winery was worth it even though most costly. Least favorite was hike to Rainbow Falls. Too long for sub par waterfall. Definately be at Clingmans dome at sunset. Will get some great pics. Cades cove is worth the drive and then we took gravel road over the mountain to Tuckaleeche Caverns. Really cool! Overall it was a great trip and a wonderful stay. Was a little confusing figuring out the door lock but simple once I did. Now I want one for my house. And believe what they say about the steep drive. It you can rent an all wheel drive vehicle, do so! Have fun!
