Beautiful layout, close to a park, a bit outdated

4 of 5
Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been vacationing in center Tennessee for five years now. We love Center Hill Lake and this house is a 3minute drive to Hurricane Marina. The house itself is a two level house, most living space is upstairs with a living room, large deck big enough for a grill, table, hot tub to be all in their own area (think wrap around) The kitchen and one bedroom can be found on the main floor. The kitchen is huge and there is dinning room separate from the eat in kitchen. (perfect for boardgames or quiet area) The lower floor also has a deck, game room with pool table with large bar, and the other bedrooms, including a separate area with bunk beds and room for a blow up mattress (for the kids). From what I can tell, the house was built in the 80's and there are some areas still needing updated. The kitchen great with two ovens and a cook top. The TVs all have satellite but they are 4:3 with two of them being CRTs and an old bulky big screen (still has a VCR but I don't think it works) Most things can be forgiven, such as the house having a moisture issue requiring dehumidifiers on both floors. Some ancillary items don't work (think deck lights) or one bedrooms closet is missing any sort of clothes rod. The master bedroom has TWO bathrooms, leaving the three bedrooms downstairs to share one (updated) shower and then a powder room upstairs (thankfully)

Great Vacation Spot

5 of 5
We had a great week vacation this past summer at this house on Dale Hollow Lake. The house was in excellent condition and had everything we could have wanted. You can tell it is very well taken care of! It was so very nice to be able to walk down to the lake and swim or just play on the beach with the kids. Our entire family loved it. Being so close to the boat launch is a great advantage, although we mostly enjoyed using the buoy to leave our boat in the water all week. The deck/patio being on 3 sides of the house was a great place to hang out and our kids loved that as well. It was nice to use the kayaks provided to check out the shoreline of the area. Overall, it was a great vacation and we would not hesitate to return to this home when we vacation again at Dale Hollow Lake.
