Great property- would definitely rent again!

4 of 5
This rental property worked great for our group of 6. It was clean and spacious and had plenty of room to cook, eat, sleep, and hang out in the evenings. The cove that the cabin was situated on was very private and calm so it was perfect for taking out floating chairs and relaxing all day on the water without worrying about other boats cruising by. The hot tub on the deck was also a big perk and was great to use on one of the cooler evenings on our trip. We also loved the floating dock as we brought our own boat so it was very convenient to leave our boat at the dock and take it out for a ride whenever we wanted to. The only watch out for those bringing boats is that the public road leading up to the cabin is very narrow and full of pot holes. As long as your drive slowly it's not an issue for cars but it was difficult to navigate with our boat trailer which we left at the cabin. I would not recommend driving with a trailer at night as you won't be able to see the pot holes very easily. There is also a community of floating homes near the cabin (not in viewing distance) that you must go through to get to the open areas of the lake. It's a no wake zone so its takes about 15 minutes to ride through it. It was nice for us because we could get gas for our boat there and it kept a lot of boat traffic away from the cove. But if you plan to go back and forth out into the open areas of the lake the additional time it will take to get there due to the no wake zone is something to consider. The only issue we had with the cabin was that the upstairs air conditioning went out during one of the nights but we called the property manager the next morning and she had a repair man sent out that day who quickly fixed it despite it being a holiday weekend. Overall we had a great, pleasant stay and would definitely rent it again. We highly recommend it!

FABULOUS!

5 of 5
Our family of 13, (ranging from 21-73) had a WONDERFUL time at Daydreamer! We did have a few rain days (1st week in October) but the house is set up so that you can spend "quality" time with each other inside or outside on the decks with a great view of the beautiful lake. The three levels allow for different activities without disturbing others. We loved sitting by the gas fire pit on the deck while it was raining. Even though it did rain, it was not cold...the "young" ones went swimming off the dock in the rain. :) The lake is absolutely beautiful! We rented a pontoon and a jet ski and had the lake to ourselves! The house has everything you will need; it is super comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything is great quality. Everyone liked having their own bathrooms. The kitchen was great to work in...2 ovens, 2 dishwashers and everything you would need. It is a little steep to walk from the dock to the house...for those who may have health issues. One caution I would like to share has to do with the water rentals...if you are planning to stay during "off season" make sure you can buy gas if you need it. We needed more for the jet ski and none of the marinas were open...we had to tow the jet ski back with the pontoon. Just made for more laughs! :) Great Place for family vacation! Thanks Andrea & Brian.
