                    Over all.....great home

                    4 of 5
Overall we had a great stay! The location on the lake is wonderful. We all enjoyed sitting on the upper deck relaxing, reading, eating while looking out on the water. Be forewarned if you try to put your boat in using the ramp next to the house. The ramp is much steeper and trickier than it originally appeared. I backed my trailer down and it got off the cement and the trailer and truck started sliding backwards. A bit unnerving! My truck failed to go into 4WD and I was not able to get back up the hill. I ended up paying $100 to get pulled back up the hill. We ended up putting the boats in at public ramp across the bridge. Very simple once we got there. The kitchen is well apportioned. However, we kept running out of silverware. Forks were especially scarce! The coffee maker is also the slowest in the world. Next time I will bring an extra set of silverware and a backup coffee pot. It would also be nice to have a couple extra chairs to sit around dining room table. We had to bring in chairs from outside to fit everyone. The rooms were all very comfortable except for the room with the two fold out futons. The futons were extremely uncomfortable. That room would be much better off with a double bed or bunkbeds. The dock was in a bit of disrepair. Make sure you bring enough bumpers. Even with the minor complaints we had a great time and look forward to returning next summer!
