Excellent Get-Away

5 of 5
Holston River Retreat provided a great setting for a relaxing reunion of friends. This property is very comfortable, set in a beautiful location overlooking the river, and is well stocked throughout. The outside gazebo is surrounded by a hot tub, fire pit and gas grill, making a great night time spot for relaxing. The owners were great to work with and offered numerous suggestions for dining and sightseeing. We would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Great value!!!

5 of 5
We rented this home as a meeting place for family travelling from Cleveland and Atlanta, wanting to spend quality time together during the holidays. It was perfect. The furnishings were not brand new but perfect for our group. It's a very welcoming home, well stocked , grocery store 10 min away. We loved it and w are planning on going back next year! Thank you to the owners for sharing this home with us.

Very good location for Metro Knoxville Activities

4 of 5
This is a log cabin not the Ritz Carlton. Very good location but needs some spring cleaning and amenity updates. Hot tub not maintained properly (we have one at home) and TV in pool room had no way to connect cable even though cable was run to the area. Several dishes and glasses need to be replaced due to cracks/chips. Downstairs bunk bed OK for kids/youth but not easily accessible for mature adults. Master BR fan wobbles and contacts the beam it is mounted on making a loud noise. Lots of cobwebs, dust and vent grills need cleaning. Just make sure the amenities and fixtures have been updated and the unit is cleaned thoroughly before your arrival. For the price we paid I'm fairly confident we could have stayed in the Sevierville area in a better maintained unit. And watch your head going down the stairs to the basement if you are 6' or taller!
