Great Relaxing Vacation

4 of 5
We rented Serenity View for a 4 night vacation - three couples. We had a great time just relaxing and getting away from the rat race. There are two nice decks with a great view of the lake. The upper deck (main level) has a grill, 2 bars for those that like to enjoy a drink or two and even a ceiling fan if it gets warm at night. The main floor has a nice open floor plan with a great common area where you can watch tv, enjoy the scenery of the lake, or play a game of pool (it's a small table but it worked out nice when we just wanted to have something to do while drinking a beer).. There is plenty of seating for everyone. The kitchen is fully functional with all the comforts of home. I even baked a cake for my wife's birthday. The cabin has three bed rooms; one on each floor so we all had our privacy. There are two bath rooms; the one on the upper floor is a very nice and modern. The bath room on the main floor includes a washer and drier which we did take advantage of. There are some nice shops and outlet malls not too far away in Pigeon Forge. There are lots of nice restaurants only a few miles away in Sevierville or in the surrounding towns. There is a boat dock just down the road if you want to bring your own boat. There is even a small dog from the area that has never met a stranger - she came to visit a couple of times and wears a collar that says "please don't take me, I line in the cove". I talked to the owner Mary Ann Pierce several times before the trip. She was always available via cell phone and was quick to provide information or suggestions on where to go and what to do; she was an absolute pleasure to talk to. I would definitely rent this home again.

Perfect home-away-from-home

5 of 5
Our family of three stayed for a week in July. Our first vacation to the area and a little nervous renting on-line. Pictures do not do this home justice. House was immaculate, everything you needed in the kitchen and LOTS of bathroom towels. The view was gorgeous and the swimming was excellent. There is a brand new set of stairs to get you to the water and a large dock we used to swim from. The water has a sharp drop-off so you want to be a good swimmer and/or have things to float on. Lots of privacy, only visitor was the company mowing the lawn for a few minutes. Debbie was easily accessible by phone for any questions and very helpful. There's even an alarm system you can use while away from the houses for the day. I'd recommend arriving in daylight as the narrow road is twisty and the turns need to be learned. The house is about 15-17 minutes from Sevierville. There aren't enough on-line reviews of this house but plenty of positive review in the guest book, don't hesitate to rent this house, you won't be disappointed!

The Dills Family from Jacksonville, FL

5 of 5
Staying at the Knight's Cabin was more then we expected. The pictures online are fabulous but being a Realtor with Watson here in Jacksonville, I've learned that pictures do not always show a true perspective of the square footage or condition of a property. However, in this case, every picture is accurate. My family and I rented the cabin for 10 days during Christmas 2013. We had always talked about doing something for the kids and putting them in a situation to see snow and after working hard this past summer; putting up some savings, our goals became a reality. The cabin is just within reach of local groceries store and movie rentals in Jefferson city and Sevierville to the right off the cabin main drive. To the left off the main drive is access towards Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The web site was excellent in showing ALL the attractions nearby. I was surprised at how much because we had never been to either places before. The cabin is HUGE! Our family ran through it like kids in a candy shop seeing the beauty of the home and the size. I loved sitting on the swing and watching the sun go up, drinking coffee watching the sun go down on the rocking chairs and seeing my children enjoy one another's company again. NO video games! LOL! We found ourselves enjoying the outdoors once more and playing family board game night. My bigger kids enjoyed the pool table and the movie room. The furniture is very comfortable and in fact, I'm thinking of picking up a similar sectional. ;) The cabin is well stocked so that picking up a few groceries for the week was tolerable. Can you believe it? My vacationing husband even cooked the entire week breakfast! I need a Kitchen this size and with the same storage and design if that's what it takes. Overall, this cabin is 5 STARS based on location, convenience, quality, value and overall accommodations. We will always remember our Smoky Mountain Christmas Vacation 2013. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Knight for providing such a great opportunity to families around the world to be blessed literally and with the opportunity of rekindling of Family Values and Relationships. P.S. Of all the cabin rental places I called; only a hand full returned my messages or picked up. Of the few that did, YOU were the only one that spoke of your property with Passion and Confidence of it's value and quality. I have and will continue to recommend your property to everyone I know or come in contact with.
