How would you define Southern Hospitality?

5 of 5
I just googled "Southern Hospitality" to see what would come up. It returned ten-million three-hundred-thousand references. If I went through all of them to find out what "southern hospitality" is, and hadn't died of old age yet, I am still not sure if I would really understand what it truly is. So, in case YOU have also ever wondered exactly what it is I can save you some time. You only need two words: "Serenity View". From the moment I first spoke to Mary Ann Pierce about availability until the moment we waved goodbye to Serenity View (after receiving some special help from owners Mary Ann and Bill Pierce when we had minor car trouble) we experienced nothing but absolute satisfaction in all regards as well as a genuine expression of graciousness, kindness, and warmth. The view from the covered deck area alone was enough to make us want to come back, but throw in the boat dock, the convenience of the proximity of the boat launch, the beautiful kitchen, the pool table and entertainment area, the jacuzzi in the master bedroom, the excellent fishing, and the absolute tranquility, peace and quiet of the area (in early spring) and we were hooked. If you are looking for any of these things in a vacation rental, then your search is over. Welcome to Serenity View!

Spring Break GetAway

5 of 5
Property was very nice, clean and comfortable. It had everything that we needed for a weekly stay. I was very impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked with dinnerware, pots, pans and utensils. We enjoyed the fireplace on two occasions and also put the ping pong table to good use.

Perfect home-away-from-home

5 of 5
Our family of three stayed for a week in July. Our first vacation to the area and a little nervous renting on-line. Pictures do not do this home justice. House was immaculate, everything you needed in the kitchen and LOTS of bathroom towels. The view was gorgeous and the swimming was excellent. There is a brand new set of stairs to get you to the water and a large dock we used to swim from. The water has a sharp drop-off so you want to be a good swimmer and/or have things to float on. Lots of privacy, only visitor was the company mowing the lawn for a few minutes. Debbie was easily accessible by phone for any questions and very helpful. There's even an alarm system you can use while away from the houses for the day. I'd recommend arriving in daylight as the narrow road is twisty and the turns need to be learned. The house is about 15-17 minutes from Sevierville. There aren't enough on-line reviews of this house but plenty of positive review in the guest book, don't hesitate to rent this house, you won't be disappointed!
