Amazing Villa with Spectacular Views

5 of 5
This villa really has it all--most importantly, a truly spectacular view over Hope Beach, which is a lush deserted beach that lies several hundred feet below the villa, with the constant sound of waves breaking on the beach and against the rocks that guard the entrance to the cove. (It's not for swimming, but there are plenty of beaches to drive to close by.) The villa itself is situated and opens in such a way so as to maximize both the breeze off the water and the astounding views. In addition, the villa itself is extremely well-appointed (the linens, furniture, kitchen), so that even the most discerning traveller will be satisfied with the level of luxury. To top it off, the staff at the villa is extraordinary, especially Joy, who cleans every day, is a font of knowledge about the island, and is available to cook simple but tasty meals for a reasonable additional fee. Finally, Bequia is a really special island: there are beautiful beaches, very limited development, and a nice and friendly vibe. We were there a week and loved it. We are a family of four, with two kids ages 14 and 11. The one thing to talk through with the owner, depending on your group, is the layout. For a group of adults or a family with young kids who would sleep in the downstairs bedroom adjacent to their parents, the house works well. I think the same is true for a family with teenagers, who would be happy to be in their own separate space. For kids in between its worth talking through the options to be sure everyone is happy.

The ultimate Caribbean Experience

5 of 5
My husband and I spent a week at the end of April at the Flamingo and Turtle Point Villas. It was our first visit to Bequia and the villas showcased Caribbean hospitality and service at its best. Every effort was made to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The exquisite tropical decor of the villas set the tone at the outset and the breathtaking vistas of sun, sea and sky took our breath away. The beach, which is literally steps from the villas, is secluded and safe and the waters are pristine. A cup of Jamaican coffee in the early morning on the balcony watching the sea was the high point of each day. The visits to town by water taxi provided a truly memorable experience and the relaxed atmosphere and excellent cuisine in the restaurants and cafes in the capital mirrored the quality of the food in the Villas. The lush vegetation and hills were the perfect backdrop for leisurely nature rambles. The holiday was a real respite from the travails of everyday life and our very souls were rejuvenated. I would recommend these villas for the ultimate caribbean holiday. Thank you Nina, Carmina and Jo for providing such wonderful customer service and a very memorable holiday. See you next year! Perfect Honeymoon!

5 of 5
A unique place to spend your vacation. Definetely not for everyone as there's no hot water, electricity, internet, some windows/doors and other things you may be accustomed in your life. Us, we felt lucky and honored being there. Everyone we met was just so nice! It's a place to live in harmony with nature, take your time to admire incredibly beautiful views, listen to the waves and simply relax. Extremely romantic, with attention paid to every detail, it was a perfect choice for our honeymoon!
