The ultimate Caribbean Experience

5 of 5
My husband and I spent a week at the end of April at the Flamingo and Turtle Point Villas. It was our first visit to Bequia and the villas showcased Caribbean hospitality and service at its best. Every effort was made to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The exquisite tropical decor of the villas set the tone at the outset and the breathtaking vistas of sun, sea and sky took our breath away. The beach, which is literally steps from the villas, is secluded and safe and the waters are pristine. A cup of Jamaican coffee in the early morning on the balcony watching the sea was the high point of each day. The visits to town by water taxi provided a truly memorable experience and the relaxed atmosphere and excellent cuisine in the restaurants and cafes in the capital mirrored the quality of the food in the Villas. The lush vegetation and hills were the perfect backdrop for leisurely nature rambles. The holiday was a real respite from the travails of everyday life and our very souls were rejuvenated. I would recommend these villas for the ultimate caribbean holiday. Thank you Nina, Carmina and Jo for providing such wonderful customer service and a very memorable holiday. See you next year! Gorgeous, Comfortable, Tranquil, & Convenient

5 of 5
This villa is everything the description says and more. Possibly the most relaxing vacation my husband & I have ever taken. This was our first trip to Bequia, and loved the island and its people. This villa is super spacious with wonderful views, privacy and everything you need to enjoy your stay. Conveniently close to Lower Bay Beach (which we had many times to ourselves), and within walking distance to Port Elizabeth (if you are healthy). Part of the walk is along the beach and a stone wall walk by restaurants and shops. We rented a car, but not sure if we would again. Taxis are abundant, however, be ready for an open air truck with canopy. Patrick, the villa's onsite manager and chef, is attentive, helpful, and an amazing chef. He cooked dinner for us 3 nights and they were all delicious. His wife, Miranda does the housecleaning, and she is sweet and the villa is spotless. Waking up to the ocean view in the master was amazing. There are so many seating areas that even if you had six staying you could have plenty of privacy or space to read, etc. All the baths are large and beautiful. Cannot say enough great things - cannot wait to go back and we will definitely rent this villa again. Alexandra (owner) was very prompt in responding throughout the rental process and is an excellent communicator. You will absolutely fall in love with villa and its location!

Southern Cross Villa exceeded our very high expectations.

5 of 5
I have seen photos and read descriptions on the Palm Island Resort website and this VRBO listing and absolutely nothing is misrepresented. From booking the trip until the last day of our holiday everything ran smoothly. Palm Island Resort (thank you Portia) took care of booking the villa, flights to Barbados and into Union Island. The resort has a representative meet you in Barbados and take you through to the SVG Airways counter. Resort staff are amazing, efficient and warm. The villa is stunning, perched on a point jutting out into the sea with beaches on three sides. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and the refrigerator was stocked with cold champagne, beer, wine, cheese, fruit and breads not to mention a selection of premium liquors. Daily housekeeping was very thorough. You will feel like royalty in Southern Cross Villa and the resort is equally amazing. Great food, wonderful staff and one of the prettiest islands in the Caribbean. Get bikes even though a golf cart is provided, they are so much fun. Hammock 3 has the best snorkelling on Palm Island but take the trip to Tobago Cays. Oh, I forgot the weather. Days 29 celsius, nights 25 celsius and breezes day and night. We only used our air conditioner the first night. The rest we slept to the sounds of the surf bathed in sea breezes. This is almost too good to be true but it is true. We loved the whole experience. We were 2 couples.
