Superb accommodation, stunning views, paradise!

5 of 5
"If we has 'Donald Trump Money', and we were free to create a dream accommodation in a dream location, this would be it! With nothing left to the imagination, Martin & Julie made their vision come to life, and we count ourselves lucky to have had the privilege of sharing this dream. Nothing but superlatives- the stunning views, utter privacy, exquisite workmanship and quality of design, decadent amenities, all on a tiny tropical island unspoilt by time, devoid of life's pressure and the 'hustle' of discount travel. Locals and a sprinkling of visitors live in peaceful co-existence. This is having your cake and eating it too! For those less active, access by vehicle is easy and inexpensive, and for those more inclined to incorporating fitness, the hillside location makes for a 'built-in' and extremely challenging ultimate 'Stairmaster with a view'- we only used the open-aired taxi service once during our 2 week stay. We thus enjoyed the freshest seafood and island libations in guilt-free abundance!! A once-in-a-lifetime experience that has to be repeated and shared!"

The ultimate Caribbean Experience

5 of 5
My husband and I spent a week at the end of April at the Flamingo and Turtle Point Villas. It was our first visit to Bequia and the villas showcased Caribbean hospitality and service at its best. Every effort was made to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The exquisite tropical decor of the villas set the tone at the outset and the breathtaking vistas of sun, sea and sky took our breath away. The beach, which is literally steps from the villas, is secluded and safe and the waters are pristine. A cup of Jamaican coffee in the early morning on the balcony watching the sea was the high point of each day. The visits to town by water taxi provided a truly memorable experience and the relaxed atmosphere and excellent cuisine in the restaurants and cafes in the capital mirrored the quality of the food in the Villas. The lush vegetation and hills were the perfect backdrop for leisurely nature rambles. The holiday was a real respite from the travails of everyday life and our very souls were rejuvenated. I would recommend these villas for the ultimate caribbean holiday. Thank you Nina, Carmina and Jo for providing such wonderful customer service and a very memorable holiday. See you next year! Your search for paradise ends here!

5 of 5
My husband and I were blown away by the Tropical Hideaway property. The owners, Martin & Julie were gracious and accommodating for the booking throughout the entire stay. They are truly remarkable people as you will see if you choose to stay at their property and learn about their journey. The rental is clean, new, and comfortable. The furnishings are top quality and state of the art including the sound systems, TV's and dependable wifi. The infinity pool offers more than a swim as you can drink and dine at the swim up bar, nap on the veranda poolside bed or rest on the edge to gaze at the harbor, bay, mountains and sunset. The grounds are pristine and well manicured. Every step on the pathways offers a unique view overlooking charming Bequia harbor. My packing advice is to pack light as the island is very casual. If you like to cook and eat in occasionally, bring restaurant packets of condiments, peanut butter, and pre-packaged spices as this will save you buying large quantities at the small-rather limited-island grocers. I recommend ordering fresh bread from 'The Upper Crust' as they will deliver piping hot baked goods for free with 24 hour notice. There are excellent restaurants to choose from and a beach front favorite for lunch is Jack's Bar. This is located on Princess Margaret beach which is at the bottoms of the hill. Gorgeous Caribbean waters, clean, and sparsely populated with people. Astonishing! Bring anti-itch ointment if you are prone to mosquito bites. Julie & Martin keep the property sprayed and plenty of personal spray on hand but when you venture off the property, you are bound to get a bite or two. Comfortable shoes such as hiking all terrains are best as the journey up and down the mountain to the rental property is steep and tiresome. Plan for 25-30 EC per trip if you hire a cab (and you will!) This is a dream property owned by wonderful people. You won't be disappointed.
