Last Minute Switch...

A group of 6 of us were originally scheduled to vacation in Cabo, but Hurricane Odile hit and we had to make a sudden change of plans. We saw the great reviews for this location and decided to move our vacation to St. Maarten and we were so happy that we did. St. Maarten is exquisite. Norma was a pleasure to work with and Roger did an amazing job of ensuring that our stay was a pleasant one. The house was remarkably clean even though Hurricane Gonzalo went directly through there just a week prior. The views were spectacular and the proximity to downtown Philipsburg was perfect. We got a lot of exercise walking up and down the hill and driveway. We lived by the pool during the day. My husband and I are already trying to figure out a way to get back and bring the kids with. Thank you Norma and Roger.

A paradise within a paradise

Arriving Monday afternoon we immediately fell in love with the place. The house and its surroundings are fantastic. A very spacious house and the view is breath taking, every morning waking up and having an amazing view overlooking Great Bay already makes your day immediately. All what you need is in the house, excellent bathrooms and the living- and bedrooms are airconditioned. The beds are great and at night you don't hear a sound..... Very quiet and peaceful. Outside the area is kept very clean and the pool area is nice and relaxing if you want to swim in the sea just walk a few feet further and take a nice dive. The Manager Jim is a great guy, he really makes you feel welcome and takes good care of all the guests. A warm personality and very professional approach. The island is wortwhile exploring, nice bays with nice sandy beaches, plenty of choice regarding restaurants and if you want to have dinner at home, all pots and pans and other kitchen utensils are available. The owners Doug and Becky really do their utmost to make sure you don't miss anything and you are having the time of your life. The information they sent about the nice bays, beaches and restaurants prior to our holiday was very much appreciated as informing us via e-mail, when we had one day where the weather was nice but not excellent as usual, what we could do if we would get bored (???) In the last 25years we travelled a lot and seen many places but we can truly say this was one of the best holidays ever. Louise, Loïs and Sjaak

Excellent place to stay

5 of 5
We are two couples in the late 40s/ and 50s who stayed at this apartment for a week in March 2014. We loved the place and would gladly recommend it to others.. The apartment is located about 5 min driving from the center of Philipsburg, Great Bay Beach , supermarket, ferry to St. Barth island The apartment was very comfortable with two large bedrooms with separate bathrooms and air conditioners, fully equipped kitchen . Best of all was a spectacular view from the any of two balconies at the surrounding islands of St. Barth, Saba, St. Eustatius, and St. Kits & Nevis. We enjoyed having meal sitting there and listening to the music of the ocean with amazing nice breeze during the night, and a quiet but still central location. We hope to visit again someday. Edgar and his wife, the owners, helped us with whatever we needed throughout our stay even gave a short ride to show us local attractions and breathtaking views. Thank you, Edgar for making our stay perfect! The best regards Elena, Sergei, Ivan and Oksana
