Our dream vacation

5 of 5
Staying at La Batterie was beyond anything we could of imagined. It started with getting picked up at the airport by the skilled driver Clavie, who gave us a guided tour on the way to the villa. La Batterie is like the Garden of Eden. The grounds are maintained to perfection. We could sit on the beautiful deck and stare at the Pitons all day. It is the most stunning view we have ever seen. The staff was exceptional from Cynthia the cook/manager-Marilyn/housekeeper-Terry/gardener-BK/security. From lounging at the pool or soaking in the rays on the sun deck…..it couldn't have been more relaxing. We fell in love with the town, villa and the amazing staff. Cannot wait to return to paradise.

Amazed in A Tropical Paradise

5 of 5
My wife and I , along with another couple, had the pleasure of staying in the two bedroom Treehouse II . I must say that we were quiet impressed with our selection for a getaway when we arrived to the house. It was definitely a wow factor once we were greeted by Charmaine as she took us on a tour to welcome us to the property. The ambience and privacy factor is superb , being nestled in a beautiful garden paradise of exotic flowers and birds. Words cannot describe the view from the large deck outside the living area and from one of the adjoining bedrooms. We did find the second bedroom on the terrace level to be very spacious and comfortable with the plunge pool right outside your door. This room also included a full bathroom with ample space. So to say the the least , we were more than satisfied with the accommodations provided to us. We loved the location near to the town of Soufriere and also the short walk down to the beautiful black sand beach at Anse Chastanet Resort. We are very active people so we did a great deal of exploring and spending time in the local culture. We did hike into the rain forest which was incredible as well as a somewhat challenging hike to the top of the Gros Piton. The choice of activities from the location of the house are numerous. I could go on and on but with limited time I felt it only fitting and justified to express my Sincere and Grateful thanks to the owner of this listing which exceeded all of our expectations. Of course , this gets a 5+ Star rating indeed. This place will not disappoint you... Regards, Dr. And Mrs. Franklin Stein

St. Lucia is a beautiful island. Mango Point if a wonderful place to stay to enjoy this island. The staff is friendly and pampered us during our stay. The house itself is charming and very well situated, overlooking the Pitons, the bay and the town of Soufriere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in February, 2007 and are going back in '08.
