Vacation in Paradise

5 of 5
What can I say to summarize our visit to Akasha other than “beyond incredible.” This was our second time to St. Lucia, but the first time bringing our children. Many of the hotels are adult only, so we opted to go the route of looking for a private villa that would accommodate our family. Akasha certainly accomplished that. We had opted to try something different and take a helicopter transfer from the southern international airport to the northern airport only a few minutes from the house. When dealing with the booking for Akasha, the owner was very helpful in liasoning the transfer for us, and had ground transportation waiting for us on the other side. The villa itself is beyond compare. Facing West on the northern tip of the island, you are able to watch unobstructed views of the sunset each night, which never got old. Even our kids stayed quiet as they watched in “aww”. The amenities in the home were fantastic, and everything you can think of needing is available. We made a big dinner one night to take advantage of the great kitchen, and had everything we needed from martini glasses to serving plates. The kids were kept entertained between the media room and the pool, and the home is large enough to accommodate everyone for a vacation without feeling like you’re on top of one another by any stretch. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, and were great with the kids. Far enough away to feel private and secluded, yet close enough to visit restaurants or shopping, the home is located in an ideal location. This villa made for a vacation that we aren’t soon to forget, and for that I highly recommend the property.

Nice staff and great pool.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The kids loved the pool. Snorkeling in the cove was great. Nicole sent up an great boat trip to the Pitons and an amazing view for lunch. The Friday street festival was a lot of fun, and it was nice of the staff to come with us.

Wonderful open house with amazing views!

5 of 5
My mom passed and left me a small inheritance. Decided to take my family (son, daughter, son-n-law, & wife of course) to St. Lucia. Decided on this house based on needs (AC in bedrooms) and prior reviews. What a perfect choice we made. Now this house might not be for everyone...it's open to nature...we had geckos on the wall and a cute little black bird that would fly in and say hello on a daily basis. But much to our surprise, the bugs were not bad at all. But the house is beautiful! Very relaxing. Pool is awesome and the porch gave us breathtaking views during day & at night. You could walk across the street to a grassy road that would lead to a lot for sale overlooking bluff and beautiful ocean views. Or walk up the hill above and have 360 views. Christian aranged for Peter our taxi driver to pick us up at airport. 2 hr ride to Mount du Cap where the house is. We decided not tor rent a car, and we used Peter everyday to take us to Rodney Bay for dinner, or to Pigeon Island etc. Peter took great care of us. Gertrude was our housekeeper and was wonderful as well. We are an active family, so we would walk down the hill to the 2 resorts below...Cap Maison & Le Sport. You can use the beaches for free and snorkel. Also you could use the bars on the beach at Cap Maison if you had cash. Very friendly bartenders & staff at both resorts. We went on a snorkel tour to Pitons thru Le Sport resort...it was awesome! Might have been best vacation ever. St. Lucia is beautiful at every turn, and Christian made sure we were taken care of thru Peter & Gertrude!
