Stylish secluded cottage! Spectacular views!

5 of 5
We greatly underestimated the loveliness this cottage has to offer. From the photos we were expecting beauty but the photos truly don't do this gem justice. Don't think of this home as a vacation rental. It is much more like staying in someone's private, tastefully appointed, fully-stocked little home while they are away. The experience was outstanding, from the initial booking with Millie through our week long stay in this lovely home. As charming and comfortable as it is indoors though, we spent most of our villa time outside on the huge, well-furnished deck or in the pool. The views are gorgeous, and the landscaping is lush and fragrant. It is quiet, private and romantic. This was the perfect spot for me and my new hubby to enjoy a dreamy caribbean honeymoon.

Amazing Place! Loved it!

5 of 5
We stayed here April 27th to May 6th and had a wonderful stay! The Crow's nest was thoughtfully and beautifully decorated (including gorgeous local artwork) Every amenity one could possibly need was supplied. The winds and fans worked in harmony to produce glorious breezes the entire stay. We loved the deck and grounds with lovely views. An added bonus was a tram car to aid in the ascent or descent down the hill. All the beaches are only a very short ride away - Cades Bay, Pinneys beaches, Lovers (our favorite) and Nisbet. Grocery stores and gas stations were a short 10 - 15 min. drive. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well. (Coconut Grove was our favorite) The Sea Bridge Ferry is only 2 minutes away. A short 15 min ride will take you to St Kitts for the day. We hired a taxi to the beautiful Cockleshell Beach. We loved the small time Island feel of Nevis and would highly recommend the Crow's Nest.

Less is MORE! Solo,Senior traveler's- this is it!

With March trade winds of 83 daily/81 at night, get the EARLIEST flight out for MORE pristine beach time! My first solo internat'l trip & what an amazing week I had! The pictures dont begin to do it justice. Jane coordinating her team of meet/greet & delivery to the cottage was seamless, precise and the ultimate relaxation. My vacation BEGAN the min I walked thru customs door to meet Daisy,Marlon- very professional, friendly and willing to share the islands ' best of the locals information! Bonnie (prop mgr) was helpful with trip to local grocery.(I didn't rent a car. ) First time visitors I would suggest it thru Marlon..also his tour leaves nothing lacking! The cottage was very comfortable,CLEAN and so SAFE for a solo traveler.Mattress and linens extremely clean & comfortable. Beach towels provided. Lanai provided lovely ocean views.Kitchen was w/ apt size GAS stove, small refrig, coffee maker, microwave & had any needed food prep equipment. Emergency flashlites were there if needed... I experienced NO power outtage. Nothing was lacking. Again very well maintained.NO BUGS!,,,,, None! ( ok Jane how do you do that?) Reading materials/ maps/pamphlets/internet are available. I was able to skype my arrival. Tv - for checking GMA weather of 29 -34 degrees daily high back home was turned off as I headed out to snorkel ! So this is what retirement is!!!!! Everyday was a new adventure! Jane & Ron's gardens are a horticulturalist dream! Their gardener is so talented! I loved the front surfside views but the view of Mt Nevis with popcorn clouds was equally mesmorizing! Saw sheep, goats, monkeys, cows, doopy & ghost crabs,hummingbirds..... The stars @ night- spectacular! Nisbet plantation (4 star) so close was my backup resort. The BBQ on Thurs w dancing on deck FUN! Sun afternoon is steel drum music. Setup account there at begin of wk, you can have a cocktail after beach swimming /snorkeling or breakfast/lunch @ their beachfront cafe. No need to carry wallet daily. Close out at end... Bananas(restaurant) midway up mt Nevis is fabulous! A must do! Tell Jillian -owner Hi! A must do ! I was last to Nevis 18 yrs previous. This is an island that has maintained its pristine Caribbean quality! The Nevisians are the most friendly people. If you want unspoiled tropical experience, this is the best you can get! Jane & Ron thank you for such a wonderful safe tropical experience! Now I know why they say: never leave us - Nevis
