Booking: Chris was VERY accommodating and always quick in replying. He gave us directions to the cabins and instructions on everything we needed once we got there.
Getting There: It was not hard to find and only 30 minutes from Clemson. We were lucky to stay here for our son's graduation.
Our Stay: We felt like the owner's had just left and we were staying in their home! It was decorated beautifullly and they even had soaps and shampoos, throw blankets, games, musical instruments, and the kitchen had everything you needed. The beds were all comfy and everything felt very clean. We were wondering how old the house was because it feels like new. The pictures don't do it justice. The master bedrooom and sunroom have vaulted ceilings and the masterbath is quite big. Oh, and the house next door that you can see in the pictures is hidden now by trees. It feels very private. The gas grill outside was great. Everyone loved the sunroom and we even forgot to open the windows for the breeze. The walk to the lake is a little steep though for anyone that has difficulty walking, but all the properties were steep.
Things to do: We actually caught some Bass! If we can, you can! You could even see big ones swimming around the dock. The Exxon has live bait and supplies (rods are $25). We also rented a boat from Harbor Light Marina which is very close by. Plot your destinations on your phone GPS though! The lake is huge. Tubing was great (we brought our own.) The kids loved swimming off the dock. Bring some floats and stuff; our kids liked having their lifejackets on. We didn't get to see the nearby waterfalls, but that sounded fun.
Final Comments: I felt so strongly about recommending this house, that I had to type this review twice after the first one locked up! I wish we could have stayed longer and I want to go back!
